Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") outlines the rules for using PawfolioBreeder. By using our service, you agree to comply with this policy.

1. Permitted Use

PawfolioBreeder is designed for registered breeders to:

• Manage breeding animal records and pedigrees
• Track litters and offspring
• Maintain health records and DNA genetic profiles
• Upload and process DNA reports for genetic analysis
• Use coat color forecasting tools for breeding decisions
• Communicate with prospective buyers
• Process payments for animal sales via Stripe Connect
• Showcase their breeding program through a public website

2. Prohibited Activities

You may not use PawfolioBreeder to:

• Engage in or promote illegal activities
• Upload content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, or defamatory
• Misrepresent your identity or breeder credentials
• Upload malware, viruses, or other harmful code
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems
• Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from other users
• Send unsolicited communications (spam) through the platform
• Violate any applicable animal welfare laws or regulations

3. DNA and Genetic Data Integrity

3.1 Fraudulent DNA Reports

You may not upload fraudulent, falsified, or altered DNA reports. All DNA reports must be authentic results from legitimate testing laboratories.

3.2 Misrepresentation of Genetic Results

You may not misrepresent genetic test results to buyers. If genetic data is displayed on your public profile, it must accurately reflect the results from the testing laboratory.

3.3 Unauthorized DNA Reports

You may not upload DNA reports belonging to other breeders' animals without the explicit authorization of the animal's owner.

3.4 Coat Color Forecast Disclaimers

Coat color forecasts are provided as informational tools based on known genetics. You should not represent forecasts as guaranteed outcomes to buyers.

4. Stripe Connect Acceptable Use

If you use PawfolioBreeder's payment processing features:

• You must comply with Stripe's Acceptable Use Policy
• You may not use payment processing for prohibited business types as defined by Stripe
• You are responsible for accurate invoicing and honest representation of transactions
• You must comply with all applicable consumer protection laws regarding deposits and refunds

5. Health Record Accuracy

5.1 Public Health Records

Health records and test results that you make publicly visible on your breeder website must be accurate. You are responsible for the accuracy of all health information displayed to buyers.

5.2 Verified Badges

Health record verified badges indicate that you have attested to the authenticity of the test result. Misuse of verification badges (marking unverified or fabricated results as verified) is prohibited.

6. Content Standards

All content uploaded to PawfolioBreeder must:

• Be accurate and not misleading
• Respect intellectual property rights
• Comply with applicable laws and regulations
• Not contain personally identifiable information of third parties without consent

7. Enforcement

We reserve the right to take action against any account that violates this AUP or that we reasonably suspect of misuse, fraud, or activity that may harm the platform, its users, or third parties. Enforcement actions may include, at our sole discretion:

• Warning notification
• Temporary suspension of your account
• Removal of specific content or records
• Disabling of payment processing features
• Permanent termination of your account
• Reporting to appropriate authorities if required by law

We may take immediate action without prior notice when necessary to protect the platform, other users, or comply with legal obligations.

8. Reporting Violations

If you become aware of any violations of this policy, please report them to abuse@pawfoliobreeder.com.

9. Changes

We may update this AUP from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to you via email and in-app notification.
